Before Arriving

​

  • All attendees should take a lateral flow test on Tues eve (27th)/Weds morning (28th) and Fri eve (30th)/Sat morning (31st) and only attend if they have a negative result. 

  • The results of the lateral flow test should be reported to NHS and forward the NHS email to us for each attendee.

  • Parents must explain and ensure their children understand our guidelines before they attend Vivace. 

  • Parents should ensure they and their children are wearing clean clothes. 

  • If a child feels unwell with any recognised covid symptoms, including headache, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, loss of taste/smell they should not be brought to Vivace. 

  • Afternoon pupils must bring a music stand, pencils and erasers. All property must be clearly labelled. Sheet music must be printed off and brought to each session.

At Vivace

  • Parents AND children age 7 and above must be prepared to wear masks at all times when inside.

  • Only one parent or guardian should attend with their child. Please leave non-playing siblings at home where possible. 

  • Social distancing must be observed at all times - 2 metres minimum.

  • Please bring your instrument pre-tuned to A=440. Teachers will assist you if required.

  • Indoor teaching areas will be kept well-ventilated with windows and doors (except fire doors) kept open where possible. 

  • Break time: Please go outside, weather permitting.

    • In bad weather move to your next lesson space and remain there until it is time for the next session.

    • DO NOT gather in indoor communal areas.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at the building entrance. Please also bring your own to use in the classrooms.

  • Registration will be carried out by your teachers and will be contactless from a child and parent perspective. 

  • All classes will be carried out following social distancing guidelines.  

Hygiene

  • Course attendees should wash their hands on arrival; after sneezing or coughing; before each lesson; before and after eating food; after going to the toilet.

  • Hands must be cleaned before unpacking instruments (parent & child). 

  • Teachers will ensure there is a ‘hygiene station’ in each space. This will include a rubbish bag or bin, hand sanitiser, cloths/wipes. 

  • No food or drink is to be consumed in the classrooms. Please eat outside or in our designated indoor space for rainy days.

If anyone shows  COVID symptoms...

  • Anyone who shows symptoms should be tested as soon as possible and remain at home until test results are received. 

Departure

​

  • Families will leave each day as soon as their final lesson ends - staying on to play on-site or to socialise will not be possible. 

  • All on-site equipment will be wiped down at the end of the day.
